I booked online accommodation for a holiday in Ireland and it seemed a fair price. At the last moment Guest Reservations added $500 Australian Dollars to the cost and charged this to the credit card in a way that was highly duplicitous. It was then VERY hard to reach a customer service representative to get it cancelled, although this was achieved and they were helpful - eventually!

Scam alert guest reservations!
Do not use guest reservations; this company is deceptive and, in my opinion, criminal.
I tried to book directly with the Hilton Waldorf in London, but guest reservations disguised themselves as the hotel website. I agreed to a price and paid, only to have my credit card charged 1,882.580 more than the advertised price in hidden taxes and fees, with no warning or consent.
I canceled within 4 minutes and received an email confirming cancellation. But no refund came. After a week of waiting, they hid behind tiny print in their terms and conditions and refused to refund me. They are now claiming a no-cancellation policy despite the instant cancellation and confirmation.
They've taken 1,800 from me for nothing: no room, no service, and zero accountability. Thousands of other victims have reported the same thing. Their customer care is nothing but an AI bot repeating scripted nonsense. No real person will help.
This company preys on travelers, disguises itself as legitimate hotel websites, and steals your money.
Please stay far away from guest reservations.

Scam website beware of guest reservations they have just charged me over 1800 euro with added taxes and charges doubling the cost of the trip agreed and hid behind there small print terms and conditions
Terrible customer service with scripted responses
In addition I was trying to book direct with the hotel but was this so called company disguised themselves as such
I cancelled the booking 4 minutes after I realised they overcharged my card now to be told its none refundable
No no money and no accommodation with no one to pick up the phone on the other side
Scam beware this website is designed to steel your money with small print terms and conditions protecting them

Avoid this website! My wife booked a room through this website not noticing the inflated fees and terrible cancellation policy.

We're several days away from using our reservation and we just missed the full refund cancellation cutoff. The hotel itself still has zero cancellation fee at this time, but this website charges nearly the entire cost of the room and fees! A customer service rep for the website said we can cancel, send a statement from the hotel and we MIGHT get the full refund. Booking directly with the hotel right now is way cheaper.

But, I'm afraid to cancel this website's reservation and HOPE for a refund. I highly recommend staying away from this site and booking directly with hotel, or through a more legitimate 3rd party website!!!

A través de su página se reservó para el Sr Rabat José hotel de Buenos Aires el Alvear Palace . Nos pidieron tarjeta de crédito para la garantía . Pues no hay tal reserva en el hotel y por lo tanto quiero cancelar mi reserva hecha por su página, .Nadie responde la atención que he recibido ha sido muy deficiente.
